Whippet and how it all begun for us..

Our love and fascination for the Whippet started when my mum got »Multi Ch Scheik´s Royal Choice from Finland. She was the sweetest little girl you could imagine. Thanks to Britt-Marie Sundqvist and Mr Jarmo Vuorinen for bringing such love to our family. Choice as she was called, was a joy to live with but she was sadly put to sleep 2007 at the age of 13. Choice really was something extraordinary.

As my friend Lotta Berlin was planning a whippet litter, my daughter Liv decided that she must have one of her own, so our Ph family were extended with a whippet girl named »Ex Officios Nienna in the beginning of 2008. She is called Sky. And a dream is fullfilled especially for our daughter Liv. Now we also has added the Whippet  breed to our affix Ezhar. So hopefully in the future a whippet litter will see the daylight in our kennel.

As a breed; whippet is a very loving nature - easy to live with. The perfect family member. The whippet is very happy and loves to be near the family, and in our case also near the Pharaoh Hounds, as they love to lay on the top of the Pharaoh to keep warm. Both Pharaohs and Whippets love to lay on the sunny spot in the house, really seeking for the warm, sunny places.

For us the Whippet and Pharaoh Hounds complements each other very well,as  both are very unique, soft and easy to live with. And i can't imagine a life without them..
